Filling the Stockings

I found a new blog called Get Ready for Christmas. I'm so excited about it and can't wait to check back for all their great ideas.

Here's a paragrah from a recent post about stockings:

I don't put my kids stockings away after Christmas with the rest of the
stuff. I place them into my trunk in my bedroom and fill them year-round.
Everytime I get something for free or find something on super sale I add it
to their stocking. Some items in their stockings already: fingernail polish,
super-cute notepads with hearts (from Valentine's clearance), sidewalk chalk (clearance at Walmart), stickers that came in the mail, crayons (super cheap from back to school sales), tattoos, yo-yos, $2 Subway gift cards (free from Coke Rewards).

I LOVE this idea. I just bought something the other day, that I decided not to give to my kids and save for their stockings. But I love the other fillers she uses - like free stickers you get in mailers, etc. Click here to read the rest of the post!
